Apps!

An app is available for download from Apple iTunes, Google Play and Amazon App stores. The app has the same functionality as the mobile-friendly Websites - only the method of accessing is different. Click on the appropriate icon below to find and download your Generations mobile-friendly app. Note: the app is designed to work with current technology. If you have an older model of a Kindle Fire, the app would not appear in search results.

Mobile Site Bookmark

Access Generations from your mobile device! Generations Mobile Website is designed for accessing your Generations database from mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets.

Access the mobile-friendly Website at https://mobile.idb-sys.com and bookmark the site on your devices. You may be able to add the Generations icon directly to your home screen.

1. At the login page, select the bookmark icon.

HOW TO LOG IN

If you are using the Generations App, simply click on the app on your device. You could also open an internet browser and browse to https://mobile.idb-sys.com and enter your Agency ID, email, and password. Click "Login" and you are taken to the home page.

  • The "Remember Me" checkbox remembers Agency ID and email only.
  • After 5 minutes of inactivity, you are automatically logged out of the site.

THE HOME PAGE

After you have successfully logged in, the Home Page is displayed.

  • Click Scheduled Visits to see your shifts and details regarding those shifts including Tasks.
  • To see all shifts that do not have staff assigned, click Available Shifts. If there is an exclusion between Client and Caregiver, the Caregiver cannot see Available Shifts for that Client.
  • To review messages sent from the office, tap Telephony Messages.
  • Use Preferences to subscribe or un-subscribe from Daily Schedule Reminder emails.
  • Note that there are also buttons for Home and Logout.

SCHEDULED VISITS

The Scheduled Visits tab provides basic information for each shift that the Caregiver is scheduled for on that day. Select "Details" or press anywhere in the schedule area to view additional details.

  • To view schedules for a different day, select the "Monthly View" and any day on the calendar.
  • Dates in bold indicate there is a visit scheduled.

SCHEDULE DETAILS

This page provides further information about the schedule, including:

  • Start and End time
  • Tasks to perform for this shift
  • Visit Notes that other Caregivers have entered
  • The Plan of Care for this specific Client
  • Additionally, if you have a GPS-enabled device and your agency is using Generations Telephony, you can log-in and log-out of the shift using GPS

Visit Login: This will only function if you use Generations Telephony and GPS visit verification. A green checkmark appears when you successfully login.

Visit Logout: This will only function if you use Generations Telephony and GPS visit verification. A green checkmark appears when you successfully logout.

Tasks:  Lists the number of tasks assigned to this scheduled visit. Touch the Tasks button to both view the list of tasks, and indicate which tasks were performed.

Plan of Care: Opens the Plan of Care for the Client associated with the shift in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. The PDF is an application outside of Generations, so be sure to tell Caregivers to delete PDFs off of their devices. If you are not comfortable with this, restrict Plan of Care access via the Web Portal in Company Settings.

Add Notes: Enables Caregiver to enter a Visit Note.

View Notes: Shows the number of notes all Caregivers have entered for the client; click to display notes.

GPS VISIT VERIFICATION

GPS visit verification service is available for customers using Generations Telephony and GPS enabled devices. For the Visit Verification to work, you must turn on the GPS on your device.

CLIENT MOBILE WEBSITE

Clients and the Contacts of Clients can sign into the mobile website to perform the following functions. Note that some of these may not be available depending on how your agency chooses to setup your Web Portal preferences in Company Settings.

  1. View their Schedules.
  2. Enable or disable notifications when Caregivers arrive and depart; this requires a subscription to Generations Telephony.
  3. View Plan of Care.
  4. View scheduled Tasks.
